Joseph started SELFi because he saw an opportunity to educate and empower consumers to save money on their mortgage by eliminating sales costs and passing the savings back to consumers. As a mortgage coach, Joseph thrives in finding creative solutions to best meet his client’s goals. In 2020, Joseph was the #8 ranked mortgage broker in the country with Rocket Mortgage. He is now teaching ethical and energetic mortgage coaches his system of creating value for homeowners.
Prior to starting SELFi, Joseph was a top producing mortgage adviser. He has helped over 1,000 clients with their mortgage. In 2017 and 2016, he was recognized by Scotsman Guide magazine as a top mortgage adviser in the country.

Working with Joseph on our refi was a lifesaver. Not only is he very responsive and knowledgeable, but he worked hard to get us our refi. SELFi enabled me to purchase in San Francisco with only 5% down… I didn’t even know that was possible! My loan application was with Quicken Loans and the process was very straight-forward. The loan took around 18 days to close. Joseph got me a lender credit to cover all closing costs, including property taxes and insurance so my out-of-pocket was only my down payment. I’m now telling everyone you can purchase in San Francisco with only 5% down.
Joseph helped my Buyer clients with a really difficult REO. He shopped for the lowest rate possible, and when complications came up, and the loan was declined, he helped shop two other lenders.
